About the 215/70R14 size
The single most important classic size in the US: the factory tire on nearly every 1966-1974 intermediate muscle car was F70-14, and 215/70R14 is the accepted radial equivalent (26.0 in tall versus 26.2 in, section width 8.5 in versus roughly 8.6 in). G70-14 cars can use it too, though 225/70R14 is closer if you can find one.
